Easy Everything Bagels

Makes 4

Ingredients

  • 2 c all purpose flour (extra for dusting)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt

  • 1 egg for egg wash or 1 tbsp butter or milk or water

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds, optional

  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds, optional

  • 1 tbsp flaxseed, optional

  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds, optional

  • Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a baking tray with a silpat or parchment paper.

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt and baking powder and stir. Add Greek yogurt and mix well, to form dough.

  • Lightly dust countertop with flour. Kneed the dough (about 8-10 times). Cut into 4 pieces (for large bagels) or 6 for mini bagels.

  • Roll the dough into a rope shape. Connect both ends of the dough to form a bagel - you can twist the rope prior to connecting. Place on the lined tray and continue with the remaining pieces. Brush the tops of each bagel with egg (or butter, milk...). Sprinkle generous amount of the seeds of your choice over all bagels.

  • Bake the bagels for 20-22 minutes

Bon Appetit!
