That said, we can't get enough of the below Sugar Cookie recipe - simple, versatile, scrumptious!

Nice And Easy Sugar Cookies

1 1/2 c flour

1/2 c sugar

1 small egg

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 c butter

OPTIONAL: 1 tsp vanilla or 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Fun factor: add a little bit of spinach puree for the natural green color!

Pre heat oven to 400F degrees. Combine eggs and butter
In a large bow mix egg, sugar and butter. Mix flour and baking powder. Separately mix flour and baking powder. Bring together all ingredients, continue mixing forming a soft dough.

Lightly flour a surface to roll the dough (should be about 1/4 thickness). Start cutting cookies using cookies cutters. Place on the baking sheet and bake for 7-10 minutes. Allow cookies cool, they will slightly harden. Bon Appetit!

P.S. Icing or not, these are so yummy!
